Realize Change™️ is a global coaching and community building practice based in Washington, DC. We help purpose-driven women and nonbinary folks looking to find fulfillment, alignment, and positive impact in their careers and lives by offering individual coaching, group experiences, and inspiring community.

Our mission is to unleash the power of women and others to create a more just world.

We do this by helping you navigate wholeheartedly to fulfillment and positive impact in ways that are truly aligned for you. 

Through individual coaching, group circles, workshops and events, we create a space for you to get clear on your life’s work AND make it happen.

Vision

We want to see a world where every person matters and flourishes in their sacred dignity. Where each human being has the opportunity to thrive, experience joy and wonder, let their authentic light shine, and contribute soulfully toward realizing the potential for a just, peaceful, and sustainable world.

Why Now?

It doesn't take much more than a glance at the news each morning to feel acutely aware of how broken the world is. Crises and suffering are pervasive, leaders fall short of our hopes and even basic expectations, and the causes we believe in seem to be losing ground faster each day.

At a time like this, our society is in dire need of fresh perspectives, new solutions to old problems, and the courage and energy to make them happen. Where will the ideas and innovation come from?

We believe in the potential of women and non-binary folks to realize positive social change.

As women and non-binary folks, we often encounter stumbling blocks on our way to discovering our true passions, developing our wildest ideas, and unleashing our most authentic leadership. When we check a portion of our potential at the door, how badly is society missing out?

What could it look like for every woman and non-binary person to embrace and pursue the change-making that calls them?

We have worked with over 200 women and non-binary folks living on 6 continents (all except Antarctica!). Our clients include:

• parents going back to work, either to their prior careers or something new

• emerging and seasoned entrepreneurs looking for support and community as they bring their visions to life

• folks anticipating big changes, like moving to a different city or starting/finishing grad school

• successful lawyers and non-profit professionals who are pursuing their passion projects or business ideas

• professionals nearing retirement who want to envision and plan for what’s next after full-time employment

• high achieving “doers” who are feeling burnt out and want to reconnect with what brings them energy and inspiration

• creative spirits seeking to put their art more at the forefront of their careers

So that we can pursue our focused mission, coaching with Realize Change is open to all who identify as women and to gender non-binary individuals.

Our commitment to justice and inclusion

Realize Change is committed to being part of what the honorable late Rep. John Lewis called “the Spirit of History.”

What that means to me (Sarah) is several things:

• First, being part of bending the arc of history toward justice… toward a world where everyone can meet their basic needs, access opportunity, and realize their potential no matter their race, nationality, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, abilities, class, religion, or other facets of their social identity.

• Second, striving pro-actively to build communities, relationships, and spaces where everyone who feels called to be there can access the opportunity, show up as their full selves, and thrive.

• Third, nurturing individuals to develop as social justice leaders who bring compassionate, courageous, welcoming spirits to their life’s work, and who catalyze meaningful, strategic, and effective change in a world that desperately needs it.

• Fourth, standing up and taking action together as the Realize Change community — following the lead of values-aligned partners — to do our part in making systems change.

I believe that developing awareness and taking action for equity is never-ending. If “woke” is the destination, then “waking” is the journey, and we’re all on it, myself included. I welcome conversation and learning with my community so we can grow ever stronger in our pursuit of a better world.
